Alvin Laws

Alvin Dee Laws was born on December 4th, 1965, to the late Devoed Laws and Mattie Hill- Spearman in Mariana, Arkansas. He attended Madison School District. He was known as” AL Bogey” throughout the community and was well known and loved.Alvin was married to the love of his life, His best friend Jurea Melton – Laws whom he dearly loved for 18 years and was married to for 13 years.He was employed with Environmental Restoration for over 20 years as a heavy equipment operator, per his position he traveled across the United States and made friends everywhere he would go.He was always the life of any party, and he loved to dance and enjoy life. Alvin always wore a beautiful smile; he had a heart of gold and would help anybody. He always left you with the words “I LOVE YOU”.On January 22, 2022, Alvin was called home to be with the Lord after spending time with family and friends.He was preceded in death by his father Devoed Laws, Grandmother – Mary Turner and great niece Kiara Thompson.Alvin Leaves to forever cherish his memories, his loving wife Jurea Melton – Laws, Mother – Mattie Hill- Spearman, Mother-in-Law – Nadine Maple, Father in Law Rev, Arthur (Barbara) Melton, Son Alvin (Tiffany) Loving, Daughters Aliyah Laws, Alezia Keltz, Zana (Onesha) Brown.Siblings: Shirley (Alvin) Koger, Carl Meridy, Mary Meridy, Theresa Bailey, Gloria (Charles) Alexander, Devoed Laws Jr, and Joyce Howard.
