Anger Adams

Ms. Anger Iza Adams departed this life on Monday, July 24, 2017. She was born December 31, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the third of four daughters born to the union of the late Isaac M. and Lorine B. Adams who both preceded her in death along with her second oldest sister Oreatha Adams-Drake. Anger gave her life to Christ at an early age. She attended the public schools of East St. Louis, IL. After graduating from the 1967 class of Lincoln High School, she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University (SIUE) at Edwardsville. Anger subsequently achieved a Master’s Degree from SIUE. Anger was employed for many years in the East St. Louis area before going to work for AT&T in St. Louis, Missouri. After several years with AT&T, she left to devote her life to her only daughter and family. Anger loved listening to music and liked several genres, but her favorite was “Blues”. She was known for dressing fashionably and was famous for her award-winning smile and “fashion model” posing for pictures. Anger loved to cook and did most of the cooking for the family. She loved her family and friends, and shared her wisdom in tough times and always had a listening ear. Anger leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Heather Monet Allmon of Edwardsville, IL; two sisters, Goivanna Jean Adams and Annie Oneatha Adams both of Edwardsville, IL; one brother in law, Ernest Drake of Springfield, IL; two nephews, Letiff Montrez Adams of St. Louis, MO and Ernestus Drake of Rochester, IL; and one niece, Brigette Drake-Hayes of Springfield, IL and an aunt, several grand nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
