Anthony Dowin Bell was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on July 9, 1958 to Versie L. Purnell and George Bell of East Saint Louis Illinois . Anthony attended East Saint Louis Senior High School located in East Saint Louis, Illinois. After, attending East Saint Louis Senior high school he married his formal wife Tammy Gillespie on March 12, 1976. In the summer of 1976, they had welcomed the birth of their first child the late Pamela M. Bell from East Saint Louis Illinois. He preceded in death George Bell, Pamela M. Bell – Martinez and Versie L. Everson.Anthony Bell also leaves behind his son DaShaune Bell and daughter DaShaunti Bell of Saint Louis Missouri . Anthony’s career path consisted of him being employed at several jobs such as, the Deluxe Auto Body Center, Anheuser Busch and Boeing. Additionally, Anthony had a very amazing spirit and he enjoyed living life to its fullest. Anthony was a true jokester, who reflected a beautiful warm smile with a very pleasant personality. During, his leisure time he liked cooking, eating his mom’s famous soul food dishes, attending sporting, and comedy events. Some, of his favorite hobbies were reading books by William Shakespeare, swimming, watching movies, collecting classical cars, and playing basketball.Anthony would occasionally, attend worship and prayer services with his family members at the Macedonia Baptist Church located on 1400 , East Broadway in East Saint Louis, Illinois. Throughout his spiritual journey, Anthony really loved spending time with his parents, siblings , and children.Anthony leaves to cherish his memories: His son DaShaune Bell, and daughter Dashaunti Bell his sisters Michelle Henson of Saint Louis Missouri, Constance Everson of East Saint Louis, Illinois Kimberly (Tony) Tucker of Washington D.C., Antoinette D. Everson of East Saint Louis Illinois, his brothers Dwayne Montgomery of Alabama and Lamar Bell of New York; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and friends.
