Mrs. Christine Stennis, 91, of East St. Louis, IL departed this life on April 14, 2024, in Belleville, IL.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. at Refuge Temple Church, 5301 State St. East St. Louis, IL 62203. Funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m.

She leaves to cherish her memories her sons Edward Stennis Jr. of East St. Louis, IL, Thor (JoAnn) Stennis of Cahokia Heights, IL, and Medgar (Lisa) Stennis of East St. Louis, IL; her daughters Linda Goodwill of San Diego, CA, Deborah Stennis of Cahokia Heights, IL, Donna (Alonzo) Hardieway of Florissant, MO, and Elana January of East St. Louis, IL, one sister Maggie Beverly of East St. Louis, IL; twenty-seven grandchildren, fifty-two great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other
dear relatives and friends.
