DELORES HOLT NEE THOMPSON, Transitioned to life eternal on Friday October 9, 2026. Her transition represented the last of the seven-member Thompson family, her husband Myles also proceeded her in death. She was a resident of East St. Louis and proudly served as an early childhood educator for School District 189 until her retirement. The memory of her 98 years of life will be cherished by her two children, Dr. Debra Moore and Myles Holt II; three grandchildren Delancey and Darrington Moore and Kailey Irvin; and two great grandchildren Kamari Pickett and Harper Moore. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 17, 2026, at Greater Liberty Church of God In Christ, 1900 Lawrence East. St. Louis, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 10:50 A.M. with the Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. Bishop Otis A. Eanes, Sr. officiating. Services by Teat Chapel
