Mrs. Dorothy G. Allen, 77, of Norcross, GA departed this life on April 28, 2022, in Lawrenceville, GA. Visitation Service will be 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 801 South 50th Street, Alorton, IL.  Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. She leaves to cherish her memories; one daughter Cassandra Allen, of Norcross GA, three sons, Kenzie (Frances) Allen of Belleville IL, Albert (Angela) Allen of Cordova TN, and Timmy Allen of St. Louis MO. Two stepsons Mark (Annie) Wayne of Belleville IL, and Larry (Elaina) Johnson of Belleville IL. One brother Arthur Lucas of Memphis TN, four sisters Gloria Williams of Memphis TN, Elmon Patterson of Chicago IL, Roberta Bledsoe of Forrest City AR, and Annie B Lucas of E. St. Louis IL. One sister-in-law Emma Strode Indianapolis IN. One exceptional cousin who was more like a dear sister Mrs. Francis Dean-Davis of E. St. Louis IL. One dynamic niece who she loved as a daughter Cora Lucas-Jackson of Belleville IL. Her heart and soul was her granddaughter Tanesha-Cheri Eichelberger of Norcross GA;  12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
