Janet Denise Moore

Janet Denise Moore was born January 5, 1965 in East St. Louis, IL. She was the youngest of four children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Marian Moore, her brother, Bryan Moore, and her nephew Brandon Moore. Janet confessed her love for Christ at an early age and united with the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorage of the late Rev. Dr. R. B. Lyles. She attended the East Saint Louis public schools, then continued her education at Florissant Valley Community College. She worked for the Human Resources Command in various capacities in St. Louis, MO, then BRAC’d in 2010 to HRC-Ft. Knox, KY where she worked until her illness. She served more than 26 years as a civilian employee with the Army. Janet leaves to cherish her memory, two sisters, Jacqueline Moore (Calvin) Smith and Lisa Moore; three nephews, Corey Curtis, Darien Jenkins and Jory Moore; four nieces, Kimberly (Jordan) Hancock, Shya Moore, Chandra Moore, and Breona Moore; one uncle, Larry (Luberta) Allen; three aunts, Joyce Gaddis, Margaret (Farris) Watson and Barbara Vaughn; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
