KyChaun “Chaunie” Hines was born on October 7, 1999. He was born in Touchette Regional Hospital in Centreville, Illinois to Kyetia Hines and Edward “Ed” Donald. He was brought into this world as a secret, but his family was so excited for his arrival. He was welcomed into his household to join his big little sister, Tatiana Wren and admired and cherished by many. KyChaun was nicknamed in his early years as “Chaunie” or “Chaun John” by the family. He was so spoiled and loved by extended family LaTonia Warren and the Warren/Moran family. He shared a special bond with his family. They loved him unconditionally. KyChaun began life in Centreville and Cahokia, Illinois they soon moved to the John DeShields apartments. He surrendered his life to Christ early in life at Mt. Paran Missionary Baptist Church of East St. Louis, Illinois. He helped rebuild the church in their time of reconstruction. He did not attend every Sunday, but he did attend regularly with his grandpa Micheal Hines. He was educated in District 189 and ended up in East Side Senior High School, where he was loved by all students and staff. KyChaun was a young man with an old soul. He loved his friends and family and made sure he told them every time he seen them. He loved making people laugh and being the center of attention. His smile will truly be missed. His favorite hobby was shooting dice. He loved money. KyChaun shared a very special bond with his mother like no other. He was the man of their household. He instilled in his baby brother KaDinn to be better than him. Kychaun Hines departed this life on October 31, 2016. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother; Kyetia Hines and his father; Edward Donald. two sisters, TaTiana Wren and Kaylah Wren; three brothers, KaDinn Hines, Antonio Donald and DeDrique Donald. Grandparents; Micheal Hines, Adele Shanklin, Edward Donald and JoAnn Snidar; Great Grandmothers, Annie Williams and Mallie Hines; Godparents; Malcom Henderson and Krystal Roberson; His Aunties, Keonna “SayGirl” Muldrow, Kadijia “Auntia Dijia” Hines, Georgia Gibson and Michaela Hines; Last but not least, his favorite cousins; Toreon Jackson, Ariana Mosley, and Shaquilla Clemons; A long list of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He will be missed by all who loved him and those whom he loved.
