Mack C. Anderson

Mack C. Anderson was born Sept. 7, 1930 in Leake County, Mississippi to the union of Luther Anderson Sr. and Katie Emma Dawson. He was preceded in death by both parents, his wife, Ernestine Anderson, three brothers; Jimmie Anderson, Charlie Anderson, and Robert Anderson, one sister; Violia Smith three nephews, Smith, George Smith and Joe N. Smith. Mack received his education in Leake County, Mississippi. He entered the Armed Forces in 1951. He moved to East St. Louis in 1956 and worked at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft for over forty years. He belonged to Strangers Home Church in St. Louis, MO. He enjoyed playing cards, Dominoes and Bingo. Mack leaves to cherish his memory; four daughters; Connie Anderson of Cahokia, IL. Katie Anderson of Miss. Selma Lewis of Blue Springs, Mo. and Sherry Gilmore of Bel Camp, Maryland, one son; Mack Anderson Jr. of Seattle, Washington, one sister; Armedia Anderson of Kansas City, Missouri, two brothers; Luther Anderson Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri and Arron Anderson of Morrilton, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
