Visitation service will be 10:00a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 and Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Power of Change Church. Burial services at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Belleville, IL. Norma leaves to cherish her memory: three sons, Thomas (Yolanda) Sykes of Jacksonville, IL. Marlon (Emma) Sykes of Cahokia, IL. and Sgt. Courtney (Kyong Son) Sykes of Lebanon, IL. Five daughters; Lydia Wellmaker-McDonald of Venice, IL. Alisa Sykes of Venice, IL. Sherry (Gary) Sykes-Stone of O’Fallon, IL. Deborah Glenn of Belleville, IL. and Veronica (Thomas) Sykes-Wood of Belleville, IL. One brother; Alfonso Wellmaker Jr. of Peoria, IL. five sisters; Daisy Elmore of Pheonix, AZ. Jaqueline Mitchell of Brooklin, IL. Doris (Wilbur) Watts of Chicago, IL. Janet Kullum of Cleveland, Oh. And Joann (Calloway) Harvey of Jackson, Ms. Twenty two grandchildren and fifty one great grandchild. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
