Patricia (Portia) Shye

Patricia Shye of East St. Louis, IL, died Wednesday, November 25, 2015 in Belleville, IL. Patricia was born on June 5, 1949 in East St. Louis, IL.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Shye and one son Trent Howlett. She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Darius (Tracey) Howlett of Shiloh, IL., Leroy (Candice) Shye Jr. of Austin, TX., and Vaugh Yates; three daughters, Charmane Howlett of East St. Louis, IL., Tamarro Howlett of Ofallon, IL., and Rose (Mark) Lucas of Saint Louis, MO.; ten grandchildren, one great grandchild; three brothers, Christopher Carothers and Chester Carothers both of East St. Louis, IL., and Claude () Carothers of () KY.; two sisters, Yolanda (Vernon) Tharpe of Fairview Heights, IL., and Hope (Landis) Fisher
