Mrs. Sarah Lou Simms, 88, of Lovejoy, IL departed this life on September 27, 2020 in the comfort of her home. Visitation service will be from 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. onThursday, October 8, 2020 at Union Full Gospel Church, 2402 Tudor Avenue, E. St. Louis, IL.  Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be 10:15 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2020 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. She leaves to cherish her memories her sons Locust  K. Simms, Jr. of Brooklyn, IL, Walter (Glenda) Simms of Lyons, KS, and Darrell (Bridgett) Simms of Alton, IL; Six daughters Sandra Hall of Collinsville, IL, Denise Simms of Brooklyn, IL, Annie Cooper of Brooklyn, IL, Darlene (Ricky) Gordon of Granite City, IL, Lucinda Simms of Brooklyn, IL, and Sherese Simms of Granite City, IL; Three brothers Eddie Lee (Diane) O’Bannon of Cahokia, IL, Russell (Sherie) O’Bannon of Ballwin, MO, and Billie Jean Miller of Centreville, IL;  Thirty-six Grandchildren; Sixty-five Great Grandchildren; Thirteen Great-Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
