Sharon E. Carpenter

Ms. Sharon Elaine Carpenter was born April 17, 1952 in St. Louis, Mo. to Mr. Dock Conner and Gloria Carpenter. She was preceded in death by both parents. She was the oldest of five siblings. She confessed her hope in Christ at an early age while attended Friendship Baptist church with her and family. She later joined New Horizon Community Church under Sharon attended public school in Dist. 189, where she graduated from Lincoln Sr High school, a year ahead of her class. She furthered her education at Sawyer Business School and State Community College. Sharon was a hard worker, She was employed by School Dist. 189 and United States Postal service. Her last employment was a switchboard operator with AT&T for most of her adult life. Sharon enjoyed the simple things of life. She loved sitting on the porch, watching the children play, studying her book of numbers and being a pro at figuring out the winning slots. Sharon was also the neighborhood counselor and problem solver. She loved to be pampered and treated with utmost care. Her children were the joy of her life and her grands were the laughter of her conversation. Sharon will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Her love, laughter, and warm spirit will forever be in our hearts. She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons; Kehnan Reeves of Centreville, IL. Kylo Reeves of E. St. Louis, IL. Kellon Reeves of E. St. Louis, IL. And Kiahron Reeves of E. St. Louis, IL. three sisters, Felisha (David)Beckley of E. St. Louis, IL. Jocelyn Jackson of E. St. Louis, IL. and Rhonda Watson of One aunt, three uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
