Stephen Fortner Sr.

Mr. Steve "Neveralone" Fortner, 52, of Belleville departed this life on February 8, 2025, in St Louis Missouri .

Visitation service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 400 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at Teat Chapel Funeral Home, 10419 Lincoln Trail, Fairview Heights, IL 62208. Funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. 

He is survived by his three children: Stenesha Fortner of Houston, Texas; Yasmine Smith of Memphis, Tennessee; and Stephen Fortner Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas. He also leaves behind five brothers: Michael Fortner, Ralph Hoffman, Antwone Fortner, Allan Clay Jr., and Christopher Fortner; four sisters: Jasmine Clay, Tomica (Chidubem) Fortner-Okerulu, Keisha Fortner, and Tyaisha Fortner; and his stepmother, Charlayne Fortner. Steve will be fondly remembered by his three grandchildren: Khloe, Kamorie, and Karmyn, along with a myriad of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
