Mr. Willie B. Jeffries was born June 4, 1949 in Lamar, MS to the union of Mr. Dave and Mrs. Clara Jeffries (Woodson). He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Dave, Jr. Willie A., Levada, Berry, and Jimmie Jeffries; one sister: Ilean Thompson. Willie B. accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. R. B. Lyles was the Pastor. He was educated in East St. Louis School District #189. As a young man, Willie B. love to dance and later organized the Goose Hill Dancer who did competitive dancing. He was employed at Four Fountain Nursing Home in Belleville, IL where he met the love if his life, Pamela Hamann. They married June 5, l995. To this union three son were born. Willie B. was later employed at Belleville Shoe Company for several years and retired in 2012. Willie B. touched many lives in a phenomenal way. He was a living, inspiring and nurturing father. He loved his dogs. He had the best kept home and yard (beautiful flowers). Willie B. Jeffries departed this life on Sunday, August 21, 2016. He leaves to cherish his memory: His loving and devoted wife for 23 years: Pamela; sons: Derrick West (Grand Prairie, Texas), Brandon, Brenton, and Bryceton (Cahokia, IL); special children, Daveona and Demonte’ Henley; sister: Esther (Simeon) Cummings; a special niece: Anna Lindsay; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
